Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology has a rating of 3.9 out of 5 in civil engineering.

The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the average package offered was nearly 3 LPA. Every year, many MNCs like TCS, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, GMT, etc., visit the college to hire students.

So it's not a bad deal to do civil engineering from the college.

Placements : The placements are available only for the software companies, but not the civil engineering companies. In 2017, about 35 out of 120 students got placed from my seniors. They were placed only in software companies. Don't hope for placements if you want to join this college.

Infrastructure : Labs will be conducted daily. Some of the lab equipment doesn't work properly. They will not repair the damaged equipment. The lab faculty will explain the working of the machines, and they give some previous readings to write the observation notes. If the machines don't work properly, the students should copy those readings.

Faculty : Some of the faculty members are well-qualified, and some of them are not qualified. The college management is recruiting such people without subject knowledge. Some of them will simply prepare the notes just before the period starts and will copy the same on the board without any explanation
