GRIET Hyderabad Placements - Salary Trends, Highest, Average & Median Salary, Top Companies

Getting placed in the best companies is one of the major dreams of every student pursuing several courses at GRIET. The college placements provide the students with opportunities to get themselves places in the most reputed companies in the concerned sectors. Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology has a Placement Cell that coordinates all the placement activities and processes. It acts as a common link between the industry and the job seekers of GRIET. 

The college’s placement cell makes sure smooth processes to take place in the placement drive. There are several stages of the Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology placement process. 

STAGE 1

In the first step, the placement cell contacts various recruiters preferably through mail and sends them all the necessary documents such as the college's Placement Brochure along with the invitation letter to conduct the placement drive. 

STAGE 2

The companies or recruiters interested in conducting the placement drive accept the college’s invitation and confirm their presence on the date of the drive.

STAGE 3

Students interested in participating in the Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology placement drive have to register for the recruitment drive and submit the required documents that will be used during the entire process.

STAGE 4

Companies visit the campus on the pre-decided dates. These dates are mutually decided by both the college as well as the recruiting company. Then the recruiters deliver a pre-placement talk in order to make students aware of the basic policies followed by the company and all the doubts of the students are addressed after the formal session.

STAGE 5

Candidates need to qualify the various selection tests, group discussion, technical interview along with the HR interview conducted by the companies and recruiters in order to be eligible for the final selection.

STAGE 6

Students qualifying all the selection tests, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) are finally selected and are offered jobs.

According to the GRIET placement data for B.Tech released by GRIET for the year 2019-20, 115 companies visited the campus for the recruitment drive. Reputed companies such as were a part of the GRIET placement drive. The companies which participated in the placement were majorly from the ITES and core sectors.
