Yes, you can do two degreea both at the same time and both will be valid.

This is because,

UGC has given its approval that one can go for pursuing two courses at the same time, the only condition is that one cannot pursue both these courses in regular mode i.e for both the courses to be legal, one  course should be in regular mode and other course must be in distance mode from Open University .

One can choose two different colleges for pursuing the two different degrees, that is one in regular mode and the other in open/ distance mode or one can pursue the two courses from the same institution or college provided it offers both regular and distance education.
