Hello candidate,

As per the new syllabus of the NATA examination from this year the entrance exam will only have questions from Aptitude, and there is no drawing part questions available in the examination. The authorities have also mentioned various other topics for assessing the understanding of basic concepts of candidates:

Mathematics

Physics and Geometry

Language and interpretation

Elements and principles of design

Aesthetic sensitivity

Colour theory

Lateral thinking and logical reasoning

Visual perception and cognition

Graphics and imagery

Building anatomy and architectural vocabulary

I would like to tell you that No, there is no removal of Drawing test from teh NATA 2022 syllabus.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that The Council of Architecture (COA) will release the NATA 2022 syllabus along with the official brochure at its official website at nata.in . The syllabus of NATA 2022 will help candidates to know about the subjects, topics and sub-topics on which the question paper will be based on. Before commencing the preparation for the NATA 2022 , candidates will have to the syllabus.

NATA drawing 2022 Syallabus :

Understanding the important visual principles in a composition (2D OR 3D) such as balance, rhythm, direction, hierarchy, etc. Understanding geometry and the ability to visualize shape and solve geometrical puzzles to test spatial intelligence; Understanding color theory and the various terminologies to test color scheme awareness and knowledge; Visual system interpretation and perception to test graphical similarities and other properties; Ability to understand spatial relationship between objects, and to visualize images and scenarios; Tests for cognitive ability: perception, attention, recognition, memory etc.”
