Dear Aspirant,

Drawing skills aren't necessary for pursuing architecture but if you have these skills it's definitely a plus point because it will be faster for you to pen down your thoughts and you need to understand the geometrical figures rather than just focusing more of core painting skills (for eg scenaries, portraits). Drawing skills just makes easier for other people to understand your thoughts. Even if you have decent drawing skills you can make it work.

Yeah! for B.Arch drawing skills is necessary. Without having drawing skills its even not possible to crack most of the entrance examination as it has a drawing paper. Now if I assume that you don't need drawing skills for any such college then you will feel problem in your coursework because BArch is not like civil. It needs more emphasis and design on how the design will look and to design a model priorly.

Thus if you think of BArch then you should be aware about the drawing skills and should practice drawings
