The department of electrical engineering in IIT jodhpur focuses on increasing the technological knowledge of students and effectively enhancing existing research environment by collaborating with organisations as well as providing better laboratory equipments. 
Over the past academic year, the placement statistics of the department have noticed an unexpected rise. Almost 85% students got placed from this branch.
