IIT Jodhpur Placements:-
Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has a training and placement cell to organise the placement procedure for the students. Students are also provided training programmes on personality development and communication skills and help them prepare better for the recruitment process. The institute also makes sure that they can help most of the students getting placed into various companies by helping them in every possible way. IIT Jodhpur also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logical and Reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written Test. The T&P cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure. Recruiters will then fix dates with the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including written tests, group discussion and interviews. Students who will qualify all rounds of tests and interviews, are then offered job offers and salary packages depending on their performance and overall scores in their academics.
According to the 2018-19 IIT Jodhpur placement statistics, students got PPOs from 16 prestigious companies. A steep rise in the number of companies for campus recruitment was seen. The Computer Science Engineering department saw the highest percentage of job offers to students, 91%. Overall IIT Jodhpur placement record was 84% which was 8% more than the previous year.
