Yes, IPE Marks plays a great role in calculating the merit in TS EAMCET. IPE marks are given 25% weightage. The marks in EAMCET get 75% weightage and a combined score is given out of 100. The process is somewhat like this- combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the normalised marks secured in TS EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects such as Mathematic, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination (both theory and practical marks are considered). Language marks are not taken into consideration for calculating the merit in TS EAMCET.
