Is it compulsory to have maths as a main subject in 10+2 to do B.Sc. Physics honours in Jadavpur University?

Hello aspirant,
Yes mathematics is compulsory for B.sc Physics.
As per the eligibility criteria to be eligible to get admission in Jadavpur University for B.sc physics you need to have passed 12th in science stream with Chemistry+Mathematics+physics.

Ok.. but Maths is my elective subject.. will I be eligebel to get physics hons. In Jadavpur University?

If you have maths then yes you are eligible.

Then it is not needed to take maths as a main subject in 10+2... you can also do B.Sc. in Physics in Jadavpur University by taking maths as an elective subject in 10+2... am I right Sir?
