Yes if you are interested in metallurgy then getting a seat at a privileged college like NIT Srinagar is a good choice. But if you score good enough in JEE Mains then you must go for NIT Warangal. NIT Warangal will be a better choice for doing metallurgical engineering. But if the case is that you want to pursue your B.Tech at  NIT Srinagar then just go for it.
