National Institute of Technology Srinagar was established in the year 1960. In the year 2003, NIT Srinagar acquired status of 'Institute of National Importance' and was granted deemed to be university status. The campus of the university is spread over an area of 68 acres. The admission for B. Tech. programmes in National Institute of Technology, Srinagar is offered through the counselling process conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), after the candidate successfully clears the JEE Main. For NIT Srinagar admission in M.Tech. courses, one must have a valid score in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering). Admission to the Ph.D programmes is offered on the basis of a written examination held by the particular department of NIT Srinagar. Once the student passes the written test with an eligible score, he/she must appear for the personal interview round. You haven't mentioned for which stream you want the cut-off of NIT Srinagar. Because cut-off varies by a huge rank by changing the stream like if you want to get admission in Civil Engineering, the rank you need is 76330(Home state) while if you want admission in computer science stream, the rank required is 33374. You can see the difference between the ranks by yourself.
