Is it good to take admission at new IIIT'S if have no chances for NIT ?

Hi Ashutosh!

It depends on your ranking. If you do not get into the NITs then yes you should join IIIT (even new like IIIT Guwahati). But I would suggest you to chose the tope/core/most demanded branch over there such as CSE, ECE etc. Do not settle for mechanical, civil or any other branch. As these branches has less placement opportunities than top/core branches. The infrastructure of new IIITs in sound condition and has everything maintained.

Also, one must have heard that “All that glitter is not gold”.  There are many candidates who have completed UG , PG or PhD from IITs but still are not able to gain many abilities. So, do not forget to work smart.
