Hello Umesh, the criteria for clearing JEE main is getting the cutoff for each and every subject(Maths, physics and chemsitry), there is no other alternative. You even need to prepare for chemistry too.

Hi Umesh,
Please be informed that there is no individual cut off marks for each of the individual subjects in JEE entrance examinations,i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate just needs to score more than the cut off marks in order to be qualified or rather successfully passing the examination. Your net marks must be more than that of the cut off marks. You can even answer only one section of the paper,i.e., either one of the three subjects and even then you would be able to clear the examination provided you answer them correctly.
