It is absolutely necessary to register for KEAM, if you want to get admission for medical courses in Kerala. NEET provides only 15% all-India counselling. However, each state has the right to give Admissions for the other 85% of medical seats. If you are satisfied only with All India quota, then that's fine. You won't be eligible for medical counselling in Kerala, unless you have registered for KEAM.
