Now coming to your question i will say a yes! .Yes you can try isi m.stat .If you are preparing for iit jam as well so it would be a good idea to check out the syllabus which gets covered for both JAM and ISI exams .however isi mstat is also quite tough .So focusing on both exams night be risky .however of you feel confident enough and the entrance syllabus of both exams are similar then go for it and prepare with full dedication
