there is nothing like that. It is such a way to get an admission into IIT and many students do it and it is really helpful and done to uplift the backward class candidates. These steps are taken to make people aware that backward people are also same with other candidates and it is highly effective.

It is just a process. there is nothing to get labelled. Other students also does 1-2 year coaching class to get an admission but those are private intitutions so no one know about it. Every person does some or the other way to get into IIT.

Don't think like that. Just prepare for the exam and give your best in it. Everyone is equal.
