Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, in Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, India, is a training and education institute focusing on the petroleum industry.

The college has good faculty, infrastructure, placements and internships, and it provides good education. Placements are also reasonable and good.  About 60-65% of students got placed per batch through college placement drives. The highest package offered was 19 LPA offered by ONGC, and the lowest package was about 3 LPA by ICICI Bank.

The college has once recorded highest placement. As per RGIPT MBA placements 2020, the institute has recorded the highest placement package of INR 8.5 LPA. The total placement percent was 84% & the top recruiters were ICICI Prudential, Reliance Industries Ltd., Torrent Gas, and TCS.
