Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Amethi admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D programmes. RGIPT Amethi M.Tech admission is done through candidate’s performance in GATE. Whereas, RGIPT Amethi MBA admission is done based on the candidate's valid scores in CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT or written test followed by an interview conducted by RGIPT Amethi.

RGIPT admission to diploma courses is done through PAT scores. While RGIPT B.Tech admissions and Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) admissions are based on JEE Advanced.
