Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Amethi admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D programmes. Yes, the faculty was very good and supportive; they helped us in every way, whether it was personal or professional. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant; there were so many practical things. My college was excellent in the research field. So this curriculum prepared the students for the industry. Semester exams were not very difficult; if you were serious about studying, you could easily pass the exam.

Academics
Top-level facilities of petroleum and chemical engineering branches are present on our campus. Some professors are also listed in the top 2% of researchers worldwide. The curriculum of the first year is the same as everywhere while from 2nd year core subjects of particular branches are focused.
Good college option for jee advanced students
Academics
The academics here are very good as compared to any other colleges as mostly all the professors are from IITs. The college has very good culture for research as the students here tend to do research projects with faculty over here. There is not much of a load in academics but you can't leave study at last moment

Hello Aspirant,
If you are not receiving a reasonable department in IITS or NITS, you should go for RGIPT.
These departments are there
- Computer Science and Engineering or CSE
- Electronics Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
Consider petroleum engrg. as a decent department.
Infrastructure and management are more satisfactory than most of the IITs.
Placement-
PSU firms immediately give positions to the students from the college.
You get an education from an exclusive university which is an institute of national importance and comparable with the IITs.
