To be honest with BTech in biotechnology from any private university is totally a waste. The main factor is the ROI factor . The 2.5 lakh that you have mentioned it's only the tuition fees you are taking. The total hostel+mess+tuition would come out to be somewhat around 4-4.5 L.

That means the total four year cost would be around 16-18L. And the placements that you will get would be majorly from bulk hiring companies like tcs,Infosys and any educational companies.

Instead of doing BTech , I would suggest you to do bsc+msc. That would not cost you much and your ROI factor will be good.
