Hi

As per your question Class 12 marks haven't any weightage inside the training of JEE Main ranks.

Students ought to realize that the ranks could be determined based at the student's rating in the

entrance exam.

However, for admission into IITs, NITs, CFTIs the rating that applicants have secured of their elegance 12

board examination might be taken into account.

As per an official notice by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the 40 percent

weightage given to class 12 th board stamps in computing JEE Main positions has been rejected, which

will be pertinent from the scholastic year 2017-18 onwards.

No, Jee Rank of a student solely depends on his/her marks in the examination. Even there is no percentage barrier to be eligible for Jee Main. However, for admission to IITs, NITs, CFTIs boards marks are taken into consideration. But your rank will be calculated without considering your 12th score. Earlier, 12th marks were given weightage. But this system has been scrapped since 2017-18. Read our article http://engineering.careers360.com/news/class-12th-board-marks-weightage-for-jee-main-rank-list-scrapped-184176
