Hello Somnath

Kalyani Government Engineering college, Nadia is one of the best government colleges in West Bengal. It is well reputed. So you are taking the right path. The placement statistics is decent and a lot of companies like TCS, Wipro, Hindustan Unilever, etc. come for placements. As far as your question is concerned, well it depends on the college to a very little extent and more on the student how good he/she can be as an engineer. It is your hard work and efforts that you put in so that you can excel in this field. You see that there are students of all kinds of mental level in any college, some thus get placed easily, others need to toil harder, although there are a lot of companies which come for recruitments. Thus, stirve harder and you will excel.

All the best!!
