Dear Student,

lateral entry is for whole B.tech course not for the particular branch, so if you are thinking to take civil engineering branch in B.tech then definitely you can take that branch. And you will get admission direct in the second year of the B.tech.

It will be more good if you give some good entrance exam so that you can take admission in good colleges not in any random one.
