Certainly, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of addmissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking.


Lpu is one of the best institute for computer science branch.placement of cse is very good with respect to other branches.almost 70 80% of eligible students(having cgpa more than 6.67)getplaced in different mncs.

1.package less than 4 lacs

80% of placed students get package of less than 4 lacs in companies likecognizant,tcs,techmahindra etc.

2.package in between 47 lacs

15% of placed students falls in this category,they get companies likebosch,yodlee,hitachi etc.

3.package of approx 15 lacs
Remaining 5% students get placement inamazon(package 16 lpa)which visit lpu every year.

So if you want to take cse in Lpu then go for it.

Yes LPU is good for computer branch in terms of placement and study but you should away from distracting elements in the college.

LPU provide Computer science with specialization in field courses such as BIG DATA,CYBER SECURITY,DATA SCIENCE,AI  etc.

In LPU environment is not too good but definitely they have good equip Lab which are also missing in government college.
