Well , MSc Physics in VIT is very good . Rather than doing MSc in other private institutions , you should choose VIT. Here no specialisation in MSc Physics is provided. The lab facility is very good . You will get to do 2–3 mini projects and one comparably larger project in each semester besides the theory and practical papers . It gives you good research environment . If you want to pursue your career in Research , then this is the right place . One thing to remember , your basics in some subjects should be very strong otherwise it will be difficult to grasp the subject . In some subjects, the professor will start teaching you from basic level.

so overall , If you have failed to clear JAM or JEST , make sure you apply here .

Admission

Admission is provided on the basis of your mark in BSc. There is no separate entrance exam for admission .
