The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur was established in 1976 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The institute is registered as an autonomous body under the department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, by the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958. The institute is affiliated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur and follows the syllabus and curriculum prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine as adopted by the University. NIA, Jaipur is also accredited by NABH for various hospital services.

As you will be knowing that the institute is affiliated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur and is recognized by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC).

The courses offered by National Institute of Ayurveda includes BAMS, MD, MS, Ph.D. (Ayurveda Varidhi), Diploma in Ayurveda Nursing and Pharmacy and Certificate course in Panchakarma.

No doubt that NIA, Jaipur is a good college for BAMS but I won't say that it's the best there are many colleges which provides better education than NIA.
