BAMS is a course of Ayurveda studies and it is an alternate career in the medical field that has a lot of scope and is yet to be explored in various domains.
BAMS course is available in many of the government as well as private colleges in India.
For getting admission in a government college, you should score atleast 425 marks, 450 marks to be safe as the there are many students aiming for this now.
However the cut-off for private colleges is lower (around 300-350 marks) so it is easier to get admission in them. You must be willing to pay a sizable amount of money for your education.
Some of the best BAMS colleges are-
- Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi
- Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Maharashtra
- Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi
- Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore
- KLE University, Karnataka
