NIOS means National Institute of open schooling is approved by the human resource and development of Government of India with a resolution that was published in the  Indian Gazett on 20 September 1990. Certificates from NIOS is valid for admission in the fall of the colleges and Universities in India.but Anna university university and colleges in Chennai do not accept NIOS certificate on the ground of the syllabus of NIOS. But in practical the syllabus of NIOS and CBSE of the same so it is ridiculous this is the exception.

NIOS Board is recognised by the government authorities. So, a student who has done schooling from the NIOS board is eligible to take admission to any college/university in India without any hassle bustle.

A student can go with any bachelors degree course according to the wish because most of the colleges and universities want a student passed from recognised boards of India and NIOS is a recognised board. The qualifications are also recognised and supported by the public sectors and private sectors too. The qualifications are also acceptable for jobs worldwide.
