Hello Salini!

IIEST Shibpur used to taked admission through WBJEE earlier. As it is now under the MHRD and declared as the 1st IIEST, it became centralised and hence it is taking admission through JEE Mains. The counselling process will be as same as NITs.

IIEST Shibpur has stopped taking admission through WBJEE from the year 2015. The admissions at IIEST Shibpur for the dual degree courses are done through JEE Mains. IIEST is taking admission only through JEE Mains as it is now a Central Government funded institute. IIEST Shibpur is under the MHRD.
