Hey Aspirant,
First of all keep one thing in mind that all MBBS graduates are considered equal for any job at MBBS level. MBBS is not like engineering where campus placement take place and top colleges get preference (IITs,NITs,IIITs)
Now where can an MBBS graduate work?
1.PHC/CHC under NRHM - here candidates selected on basis of merit in some states and on the basis of walk-in-interview in other states. India is suffering from shortage of doctors, so MBBS graduate can easily get into PHC
2.Railway/PSU/UPSC- selected based on interview/exam. Here your knowledge decide your job not your college.
3.Indian Army- again selected based on interview.
4.Private hospital- here they can prefer top colleges graduates but still graduates with good clinical knowledge will be preferred.
5.NonPG JR in medical colleges- selected based on interview. Some colleges can prefer there graduates over other.
For higher study you have to give NEET PG where only your subject knowledge matter not your college. No doubt top colleges got better clinical exposure compared to private/small government colleges but still your clinical knowledge, determination, hardwork matters more than anything.
So a message for private medical college students, just work hard and make best utilisation of money you have expenditure on medical education.
Thanks
