I don't think there is any different preparation needed to crack jmi because considering if you are preparing jee. I am considering you as engineering candidate. As you will be admitted on the basis of your jee score so you just need to practice mock papers and memorize some particular handbooks like arihant chemistry,allen maths and physics handbook.
