There is 1 Central Central University, 42 State Agricultural Universities, 4 General Central Universities, 5 deemed Universities and 4 General Central Universities for B. Sc Agriculture.

Admissions to these colleges is done through following Entrance Exams:

1. ICAR Entrance Exam (ICAR-AIEEA)
2. AP EAMCET
3. PAU Entrance Exam
4. IKGV CET
5. MP PAT
6. JCECE
7. TS EAMCET

The admission is done through two modes, first is on the basis of marks in qualifying exam and the second is on the basis of a written exam conducted by the University itself.
