Yes, Maths is a mandatory subject for B,Sc CS . In this course , you must have a basic 11-12th knowledge of maths like probability, set theory, relational algebra etc.

For doing B.Sc. in Computer Science maths in Calcutta university maths is compulsory in class 12. But in case of BCA ( Bachelor of Computer Applications) maths is not compulsory in class 12. Yes there are girls hostel.
