As you just want to get admitted into indias leading institute with core branches then let me make you know that you might get it but for sure not in the most reputed nits if you choose for the lower nits like northeast nits then for sure you can get seat into these core streams . And for newer iiits you can take chances in spot round .

Hello Mittu, I don't think you can get admission in any of the NITs or IIITs in any of the branches at this rank. The closing rank is much lower. You might try applying to some of the lower NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT goa and try your luck in the special round but I doubt that you would be getting any seats.
