is there any restriction to participate in Jossa for an iit student next year if he wants to take admission agn

greetings,

Please rest assured that there are no restrictions from part of JOSAA for retaking the exam. (you get 3 opportunities for JEE mains and 2 for JEE advanced) As long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria you are good to go. Many students retake this exam each year, (even top IIT students) in hope of improving their ranks to get the desired branch or college so in that respect, putting restrictions would be counterproductive and such a decision will definitely face public backlash.

Hi,

There is no such restrictions like that. If you want to go for admission again being an IIT student into any other IIT or course of your choice, then surely you can appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and appear for the JOSSA counselling. So, do not worry about it and if you want to appear, you can surely do that.
