Dear Priyalini, ideally it depends in which country you are pursuing MPT. In India, it is a 2 years Masters programme after BPT. In India we have specialisations like:

Cardio pulmonary sciences
Neurology
Orthopaedics
Paediatrics and Women Health
Sports Physiotherapy
Community Physiotherapy

But in countries like UK, there are various 1 year MS Physiotherapy programmes. So it depends on the country you are willing to pursue your MPT from.

Dear,

Masters in physiotherapy is a 2 year post graduate degree. The Basic eligibility to pursue this course is the candidate must have pursued BPT from a recognised Board of University. There is nothing like Time limit, if you can complete the Course in 2 years with good Academic Score you can have chance to get a salary package of 5-20 lakhs. If you increase your number of years in studying Masters then chances of getting the job will be reduced.
