Mentioned below is the reservation criteria in KCET for different categories:

Rural candidates- 15%
Kannada medium Candidates- 5%
Jammu and Kashmir migrants- 1 seat in every engineering college
Defence personnel of Karnataka origin- 10% seats in all engineering colleges
Supernumerary category- 5%
