Hi,
There is no minimum cgpa requirement for giving gate. But for public sector job , you need to have minimum 6 pointer with valid gate score

Hello Samyak.

According to the official website of GATE-2019, no CGPA criteria is considered to apply for the GATE exam. But, if you get qualified with 60% of marks then to get admission into a college, you will need some qualifying CGPA. It varies for various institutes. For example, IIT Bombay intakes students only students with CGPA greater than 6.
