Jadavpur University being one of the most reputed University of our country usually have there seat filled in first 3 rounds of counselling bus from last 2 years it is being seen that many students do not join the university even after being allotted and thus the seat remains vacant after the three rounds of counselling. Thus the university conduct mop up round or we can say spot round counselling where the counselling take place itself with physical reporting at the University. 

Coming to your question whether Jadavpur is going to conduct spot round counselling this year or not then it's totally depends on availability of seats. If the seats will remain vacant in large numbers even after the three rounds of counselling then, most probably the college will conduct spot round counselling for filling the vacant seats after third round.
