The Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) was founded in 2002 in Visakhapatnam's City of Destiny to serve the educational requirements of the general public. In 2017, the institute attained autonomous status and NBA and NAAC(A+) accreditation. The experience acquired by Vignan through its earlier institutions in Guntur has not only contributed to the establishment of extremely high-quality standards from the beginning but has also been a factor in its success.
