Tashi based upon your performance in the exams you mentioned, i suggest you to join any program at the Main(Kattankulathur-KTR) Chennai campus of SRM University but if you have economic and distance issues from your place. Then I'll suggest you to go to Chandigarh University which is the best for Engineering in all prospects. Good luck :)

See Tashi critics are everywhere, be it top private or government colleges. So, don't make your decision based upon those critics. Those Students can be critics who didn't study well in their course duration and didn't got placed at the end. You'll find such students everywhere. Have belief in yourself. Good luck :)
