Admission into the M.Tech course in food technology in Jadavpur University is done either through GATE score or university entrance test score.

No admission test will be required for GATE qualified candidates and other eligible candidates must appear for the admission test.

To apply for the test, you must be eligible for it, here are the eligibility criteria -:

•Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in food tech/chemical engineering with a minimum grade point of 6.75 for general candidates and 5.25 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

And for admission into M.Tech in food tech. in Guru Jambeshwar University, you must have appeared in GATE. Your admission will take place on the basis of your GATE score.
