NIA only accept CAT & CMAT exams. The CAT & CMAT cut off of 2022 for NIA is around 75-82 & 90-95 percentile. The cut off doesn't insure your admission. They also check your 10th, 12th grad marks, work experience (if any). GD/PI & WAT also plays and important role for admission in NIA pune.

NIA does not accept MAT score However CAT and CMAT scores are accepted. A percentile in excess of 60 in CAT or 80 in CMAT should suffice for getting a call to the next round.

NIA Pune offers admission only on the basis of CAT and CMAT percentile. It's min. the cut-off for CAT is 60 percentile and 80 percentile for CMAT exam.

This is only the min. cut-off bar it can vary with the scores and profile of students applying to get admission in the college this year. Other than this a candidate should also have min. 50% in graduation and the age of the candidate should be <=26 years.

Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI): Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview based on percentile obtained in CAT/ CMAT

Final Selection: Candidates are selected based on score/percentile obtained in CAT/ CMAT, past academic record and performance in group discussion and personal interview.

Selection parameters and weightages:

• Past Academic Record : 20% 
• Performance in CAT / CMAT : 50 % 
• Performance in GD/PI : 30%

NIA provides dual expertise to the PGDM students; one in Insurance and the other in management.

Eligibility 

A graduation degree or equivalent from any recognized Indian/foreign university with a minimum of 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST/DA Category. Students appearing for final year can apply subject to completion of their examination requirements by June 30, 2018.

Selection Based on

1. Upper age limit is 28 years for General, OBC-NC and 30 years for SC/ST/DA category as on 1st July 2018.

2. NIA has adopted Reservation Policy in admissions as per Central Government Rules applicable to Academic Institutions like IITs and IIMs.

3. Weightage of Selection Parameters for Final Selection

     i.   Past Academic Record : 20%
