Information about facilities in Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Hostel for Women of Taramani Campus is available on the institute's website. 10 rooms are available on the ground floor, 16 rooms on the first floor of this hostel. Number of inmates in the hostel is 40 students. 5 computers with internet connectivity are available. M.Sc.,M.Phil and Research Scholars reside in the hostel.

Two more women hostels are there - Mother Teresa Hostel in Chepauk Campus and Avvai Hostel in Gunidy Campus.
