In order to get admission in LPU in B. tech programmes, you have to qualify LPUNEST exam, LPUNEST is a university entrance exam. As per the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST (https://nest.lpu.in/engineering/index.php) .

• Engineering school has been ranked 66 ^th among the top Engineering Universities and colleges LPU of India.
• Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many of IITs.

  As per the world ranking 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject.

Hi there, let me tell you that the eligibility criteria for a B Tech program in LPU is 60 percent. Since you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria you are not eligible for admission in B Tech program.

Admission Procedure for Lovely Professional University:

• Register on admission.lpu.in by filling in your details.
• Select your course as per your eligibility.
• Apply for LPUNEST to avail scholarship or make direct payment of admission fees.
• Select desired city and date of exam for LPUNEST.
• Appear for LPUNEST.
• Await scorecard to get admission or scholarship.
• Following the result, attend online counselling. Fill in seat preference and download the allotment letter once the seat is allotted.
• Book your seat by making the initial payment online. Upload necessary documents.

There is no weightage of JEE mains marks.
