Well WBJEE is comparatively easier than JEE MAINS to be honest. But you need to be extremely accurate and not waste time. The number of questions in WBJEE is more than that of JEE. So a vast amount of syllabus is covered. It's impossible to attempt all the questions accurately. So try covering as much syllabus as you can when you prepare for WBJEE. Solve the last 10 years questions. This is very important. WBJEE focuses mainly on specific types of questions. You will definitely find similar type of questions in almost every year paper. So solve them thoroughly.

During the exam, first answer those questions which you can answer in one attempt. Try answering ‘Only one correct option’ questions as much as you can, because ‘More than one answer correct type’ questions are confusing.

As far as I know scoring between 55–60% will fetch you a rank between 300–500,which is enough to secure a seat at JU.
