Birla institute of technology (BITS), Mesra is one of the oldest and reputed colleges in India. The BITS participates in JOSSA for counselling and Comes under Government funded Technical Institutions(GFTIs). The opening and closing ranks of BITS, Mesra is in between AIR 5000 to 50000. So it will not be possible to secure a seat with AIR 194000.

As you haven't mentioned your category, I assume you to be of general category. With 194000 rank in BIT Meshra you are not eligible to get admission into any of the branch. As from last two years cutoffs are much higher in comparison to your rank. Therefore you can try for another one.

The cut of bit mesra is too high compared to your score.BIT Mesra is well known GFTIs and its standard is something like NITs.

You need to have a rank within 60 k in jee mains to get a stream there.

Different streams have different cut off.
