Hi aspirant
As per your rank you do have some chances for getting IT in one of the college under JEE mains.
But, definitely you won't be able toake it to the top/best NITs/IIITs as your rank is not much enough to secure a seat in these institutes.
However you can also try for GFTIs in which you will definitely stand a chance.

Hello,
Yes you can get an admission for IT. If you have some categorical reservation then apply for state government colleges accepting the entrance you have appeared and give options for private college too with low priority for security purposes.
If your rank is for general category then better look for private college in your domicile state. That will be way helpful for you.
Private colleges also provide quality education and you can make a good career too.
