Since you are from a reserved category (obc),so you can appear for the councelling process on the basis of your category merit rank. Yes you do have some chances of getting admission in nift chennai or nift hyderabad on the basis of your category merit rank. but you might not get the desired course.
If it doesn't happen in the first round of councelling then you can even register for the second round of councelling. You might land up in either of the centres of your choice that too with desired course.
