Companies like Tata Steel, Vedanta, Coal India, Schlumberger and ExxonMobil are regular recruiters at IIT ISM and more than 85% students are placed from the Mining Department every year, with most of the pacakages lying between 8-12 LPA. Secondly being and old technical institute you even have good prospects when it comes to Non Core and Finance Sector.
