Hello aspirant,
Colleges in Tamil nadu are:

• Nit trichy
• Iiit srirangam
• Iiit kancheepuram

I'm sorry to inform you but according to previous year statistics, you can not get admission in any of these Institute,
As cut off for nit trichy is very high.
Iiit srirangam cut off was 50k general rank.
Iiit kancheepuram cut off was 60k general rank.
So it's difficult for you to get admission in these institutes.

Since you are quite late now.I think you have applied for the JOSAA counselling and if not then i think you can apply for the JOSAA CSAB special round.

So if your OBC rank is 44k then i think it will be difficult for you to take a seat in any good branch in any good NIT/IIIT.

Yes but some of the GFTI'S can offer you a seat in a decent college.

You can apply for the special round because at this much rank i can't guarantee you that you will be offered a seat or not.

If you get a seat this year it's good otherwise you can lok for different private colleges or you can take a drop.
